We strive to preserve our natural ecosystems. To minimize our impact, we are dedicated to incorporating more recycled and natural materials into our products.

Recycled materials

Gerflor’s vinyl coverings integrate an average of 21% recycled materials, with many ranges exceeding 30% and even 50%.

These secondary raw materials originate from:

  • production offcuts from our factories,
  • installation offcuts,
  • end-of-life products collected from our customers,
  • and, to a lesser extent, from other industries.

Bio-based innovation

Our Premium and Taraflex ranges now contain more than 17% bio-sourced materials, derived from plant residues discarded by the animal feed industry.This reduces fossil content and lowers carbon emissions.

DLW Linoleum

Our compact linoleum range contains up to 98% bio-based or mineral materials : 41% flaxseed oil, 20% wood, 19% mineral filler, 8% jute, 5% pine resin, 3% coloured pigments, 2% cork.

It is certified Cradle to Cradle Silver.

Texline Nature is made from 55% natural and recycled raw materials. It features glue-free installation, supporting eco-friendly practices.
